No idea.Ī description of any mechanics that are in battle other than randomization on battle damage would be good. **edit, on exiting and reentering, more squares appear to be working properly with lantern lighting, but the ones in the very center are still dark. seems like it's the ones with carpet on them and 1 square out from those in the first room of the house. Maybe I was fiddling with the candles too much, but the lantern isn't lighting up all squares. not sure if the slowdown is because this interaction is being wonky. Clicking on some objects in 'dungeon mode' (the pillars in the first room of the house) kind of causes slowdown and a tiny stutter while navigating to the spot, but otherwise it seems like smooth travel? **edit seems like it's possibly if there's an interactable? The left mouse click routes the character into position and then also activates the object (chest/candle) on arrival. When you reactivate them to turn them off, the candle model, walls, and ceilings stay lit up, but the candle does go out. You can also access the menu about a quarter of a second in, so it's probably done loading fairly quicklyīeing able to light the candles is neat. and I haven't been in the game all that long yet. The loading screen masks last a little too long and each screen is small enough that they interfere with travel instead of being quirky. *edit you can move on the next screen while the load screen mask is still up. trying to describe that feels a little awkward, but I think you can understand from that. You end up inside the cave on the screen 1e of the starting zone, not at the southern entrance of the screen 1e of the starting zone. If you go EAST and then SOUTH of the starting zone, then try to go NORTH Does the option just mean 'runs in the background?'- it does that with the setting on or off. I just reset myself by pressing f5 looking for the run key. It doesn't teach me how to put circuit boards together. Solder's Guide is probably meant to be Soldier's Guide. overland map? ASD weren't doing anything. QWE still strafe left, move forwards, and strafe right.īut only w moves you on the. **edit sometimes asd do nothing in 'dungeon mode' either, now i'm wondering if I imagined it. In 'dungeon mode', z interacts and x opens the menu. What are the keybinds? The 'always run' option doesn't appear to increase movement speed.
